26th Awit Awards (2013) Winners List - Daniel Padilla bags Best Selling Album of the Year

Teen King Daniel Padilla got the Best Selling Album of the Year award from the Philippine Association of the Record Industry’s (PARI) 26th Awit Awards (2013), which was held on Wednesday at the Sequoia Hotel in Quezon City. The recognition was for the outstanding sales of the teen singer-actor’s self-titled album under Star Records.

Meanwhile, Gloc-9 received 3 major awards - Album of the Year for Mga Kuwento Ng Makata, and Song of the Year and Music Video of the Year for Sirena.

Here is the list of winners at the 26th Awit Awards:

PERFORMANCE AWARDS:

  • Best Performance by a Female Recording Artist: Aiza Seguerra for "With A Smile" under Star Recording, Inc.
  • Best Performance by a Male Recording Artist: Gary Valenciano for "Hanggang Sa Dulo Ng Walang Hanggan" under Star Recording, Inc.
  • Best Collaboration: "With A Little Help from My Friends" by Tria Bascon with The Company under Universal Records/Torch Music Productions
  • Best Performance by a Group Recording Artist: "12:51" by Krissy & Ericka under MCA Music Inc.
  • Best Performance by a New Female Recording Artist : "That Time of Year" by Shiela Valderrama under Signature Music Inc.
  • Best Performance by a New Male Recording Artist: "Kesa" by Daniel Grospe under Ivory Music & Video Inc. 
  • Best Performance by a New Group Recording Artist: "Bigtime" by Baihana under Ivory Music & Video Inc./Philpop Music Foundation
