The love team of Kim Chiu and Xian Lim are set to be back on primetime television soon. Thanks to the KimXi (fans of the tandem) who were very vigilant on Twitter in requesting ABS-CBN for a new TV project for the two.
Kim was very thankful to the fans who made it a point to make them trend on the social networking site every night.
“Gusto kong magpasalamat sa mga fans,” she said, as quoted by pep.ph. “Gabi-gabi sila nagpapa-trend ng kung anu-ano na lang: ‘We want KimXi… Mga KimXi, unconditional love… puro mga KimXi, KimXi, KimXi. Saka, di biro magpa-trend, kailangan ang dami-daming mag-uusap para ipa-trend nila.”
The concept of their new teleserye is something new for her and Xian.
“Excited kami sa kuwento and excited kami na gawin yung bagong concept. Sobrang nakaka-excite, bagong offering namin ito para sa mga fans,” she added.
But just like in every new project, the actress also feels the pressure with this new one. She revealed, though, that she sets the pressure aside and just concentrates on doing the project.
“Lahat naman siguro ng tatangunin nating artista, may pressure talaga. Wala lang, huwag mo munang isipin yung pressure habang ginagawa mo yung serye. Kasi, baka pag naunahan ng kaba, baka pangit,” she explained.
After their series, Ina Kapatid Anak, ended in June, and after the showing of their hit movie Bakit Hindi Ka Crush Ng Crush Mo?, Kim and Xian have travelled a lot here and abroad for provincial and out-of-the-country shows. With always being together, Kim admitted that they were able to bond more during those tours.
Meanwhile, Kim’s Wansapanataym month-long special has been extended for one more week. Don’t forget to watch its last episode this Saturday night on ABS-CBN.
