Jessy Mendiola sexy dances 'Maria Mercedes' theme (VIDEO)

Jessy Mendiola was so hot on the stage of ASAP 18 on Sunday, September 29, 2013, as she danced to the tune of Maria Mercedes’ theme song.

Jessy will play the role of Maria Mercedes in the upcoming Philippine adaptation of the Mexican series originally starred by Thalia. It will air its pilot episode on October 7, replacing Muling Buksan Ang Puso in the Kapamilya Network’s primetime block.

Towards the end of Jessy’s ASAP performance, she was joined by her leading men Jake Cuenca, who will portray the role of Luis, and Jason Abalos, who will be Clavio.

Maria Mercedes is the rags-to-riches story of Maria, who juggled different jobs to support her two siblings. But it’s her love life that’s the real plot of the story.

The story was altered a little to suit the taste of the Pinoy viewers, so even if you’ve already watched the original series, new twists in the local adaptation are something to look forward to.

Aside from Jessy, Jake and Jason (all J’s!), also in the cast are Devon Seron and Yogo Singh as Maria’s siblings, Vina Morales and Dominic Ochoa as her parents, and Nikki Gil and Vivian Velez as the kontrabidas.

Directed by Chito Roño, Maria Mercedes is part of ABS-CBN’s 60th anniversary offering.
