Marion Aunor gave one of the most remarkable performances at the recent Himig Handog P-Pop Love Songs awards night which resulted into her 2nd runner-up finish. Her heartfelt rendition of If You Ever Changed Your Mind could be accounted for the fact that she also composed the song.
Now those who want to listen to more of her kind of music will soon be able to do so because Marion has just signed a recording contract with ABS-CBN’s Star Records.
Present at the contract signing (as shown in the above photo) were Star Records head Roxy Liquigan, Star Creatives head Malou Santos, Marion, and her manager Vehnee Saturno who is one of the country’s veteran composers.
Marion, the niece of superstar Nora Aunor, is set to release her debut album come April.
“My album will include some songs that I composed and the other songs were composed by my mentor, Mr. Vehnee Saturno,” she said.
Meanwhile, Filipinos abroad will soon have a chance to see and hear her live as she is set to be part of the Be Careful With My Heart global tour.
