Miss Tourism International 2012/2013 is Miss Philippines Rizzini Gomez!

Mutya ng Pilipinas 2012 Rizzini Gomez was crowned Miss Tourism International 2012/2013 on Monday night.

The 22-year-old Registered Nurse from Cebu celebrated New Year’s Eve by bringing pride to the country. She bested 55 other candidates from around the world during the pageant that was held in Malaysia.

Runners-up were Australia – Miss Tourism Metropolitan, Venezuela – Miss Tourism Global, and Paraguay – Miss Tourism Cosmopolitan International.

Thailand was also awarded Miss South East Asia, and Malaysia was Darling of the Year.

Rizzini’s win followed that of Janine Tugonon’s 1st runner-up finish at the Miss Universe 2012 held in Las Vegas last December 19. Before that, however, Andrew Wolff was also 1st runner-up in Mister World 2012, and June Macasaet was crowned Manhunt International 2012 winner.

The success of our beauty pageant representatives only shows that the beauty of Filipinos is indeed world class.
