Uploaded just last January 4, Mikey Bustos’ Opo Pinoy Style video has already garnered almost 1.2 million views on YouTube.
The video was made as a parody to the hit Oppa Gangnam Style by the Korean performer Psy. In the video description, Mikey wrote “It’s about time Filipinos had their own version! Mabuhay ang Pilipino!”
The Tagalog version of the hit song talked about some stuff that are purely Pinoy like penoy, eating with bare hands, pointing with the lips, peeing “everywhere,” “kissing the hands” of the elderlies, tinikling, tinola, and a lot more.
More so, “Amalayer” girl Paula Salvosa also appeared in the video as shown in the screen capture above. My sympathy kinda goes to this girl because I was also harassed by guards at some point back in college when I would ride the LRT twice a day, six days a week (I just didn’t have the guts to make a scene). Anyway, I just wish Paula had makeup on because she looked so pale in the video. And did the cyber bullying made her look so haggard?
