Following Senator Chiz Escudero’s confirmation of their relationship, Kapuso actress Heart Evangelista expressed her happiness when she was interviewed by GMA-7’s flagship newscast 24 Oras.
“Actually masaya ako,” Heart said. “Natutuwa rin ako dahil hindi pala ako ang klaseng tao na mahirap mahalin,” she added, referring to Chiz’s earlier confirmation that they are indeed a couple.
On Friday, the senator was asked about Heart by Kris Aquino during his last day as co-host of ABS-CBN’s morning talk show Kris TV.
“I would like to think so, yes,” was his reply when asked if Heart was his girlfriend. He also added that he hopes their relationship will last long.
Meanwhile, Heart wants to keep her relationship with Chiz private. It’s something she has learned with her past failed relationships with fellow popular celebrities.
Before Chiz, she was the girlfriend of Brazilian-Japanese model/actor Daniel Matsunaga who is now with TV5. They broke up earlier this year due to, according to Heart, cultural differences.
Another past boyfriend of the actress was Kapamilya actor Jericho Rosales of whom her parents weren’t in favor of.
