Georgina Wilson is the 2013 calendar girl of Ginebra San Miguel and she proudly premiered the photo of the calendar in her official Twitter account yesterday.
Georgina wore a two-piece white bikini for the calendar photo. She seemed to be sunning her back on the beach, while the sea seemed a little wavy on the background.
The model/TV host is also the chosen muse of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) team Barangay Ginebra San Miguel this season.
Meanwhile, during her presscon for the calendar, she apologized to Nora Aunor and her fans for the mock-up photo of the superstar that she uploaded on Twitter last month.
"I apologized and I also feel that I really didn't mean anything wrong. And if I offended her fans and her, I'm really sorry about that. But I really would never offend someone who's already an institution in our showbiz world," she said.
Georgina also added that she didn’t intend to offend anyone and that the photo was only sent to her by a fan. She posted it on Twitter thinking it was funny and that it was some sort of a tribute to Ate Guy.
It was actually Georgina’s photo for Esquire. Someone edited it and put Nora’s face in place of Georgina’s.
Fans of the superstar got angry at Georgina, reason why she took it down.
"Akala ko mga fans niya ang gumawa noon so I thought, 'how cute naman of them to think of me and put her picture. Big fan naman ako ni Ate Guy. So na-confuse talaga ako when it became a big issue. But I'm sure it's not an issue for her, she's a superstar," Georgina explained.
