Dolphy died July 10, 2012 of multiple organ failure at the Makati Medical Center where he was being treated for pneumonia and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
His remains lie in state at the Heritage Memorial Park in Taguig City. Public viewing are allowed from 8 AM to 3 PM until Saturday, July 14.
He was recently brought to his house in Parañaque, then transferred to the ABS-CBN Dolphy Theater where public viewing was also allowed from 9 PM to 2 AM last night.
He will be laid to rest on Sunday, July 15.
The Kapamilya network, where the Comedy King worked for a long time, recently released video tribute to Dolphy. It was aside from the tribute they aired in the night of July 10, minutes after the legendary comedian’s death.
