Richard Y. Tan, manager to some of the most famous bands in the Philippines, passed away Sunday morning.
He was rushed to the hospital on June 1, Friday, due to meningitis. He lost the battle at 5 AM the following Sunday.
Tan was the manager of Parokya ni Edgar, Moonstar 88, Typecast, Kamikazee, Franco, Hilera, The Youth, Chicosci and Gloc-9.
“RIP Richard Tan” became a Twitter trending topic immediately after the news of his death broke out. The music industry, mostly members of the bands in and out of his management, condole with his family and said that he is a great loss to the industry.
