Hollywood writer and director Nora Ephron passed away on June 26, 2012 at the age of 71.
She reportedly died of cancer in New York.
Ephron wrote the screenplay and directed Sleepless In Seattle (1993). The movie got her an Oscar nomination for screenwriting as well as for Silkwood (1983) and When Harry Met Sally (1989). Among the movies she directed and co-wrote were You’ve Got Mail (1998), Michael (1996), Bewitched (2005) and Julie & Julia (2009).
