Jessica Sanchez sings National Anthem and “The Prayer” at PBS Memorial Day Concert

Jessica Sanches has just made her first public performance after her runner-up finish in American Idol 11.

She was tapped to perform at the 2012 PBS National Memorial Day Concert at the U.S. Capital, West Lawn in Washington DC on Saturday, May 26th.

The 16-year-old sang the U.S. National Anthem and her Idol performance piece The Prayer donned in a blue full gown and a lacey knee-length dress.

Other performers at the holiday event were Natalie Cole, Trace Adkins and another Idol alum, Daughtry.
