Empress Schuck, Lovi Poe and newcomer Benjamin Alves is set to star in a new Regal Films movie titled Guni-Guni. It will be directed by Tara Illenberger who will be using Regal’s high-end digital camera.
This is another horror movie for Lovi, who we loved in last year’s Aswang. She will not play a supernatural being here, though. She will be bestfriends with Empress who plays someone who can see what normal people cannot.
Guni-Guni will be the first movie of Benjamin, a nephew of Piolo Pascual. He recently signed up with GMA-7 but said he wouldn’t be going full time in showbiz until after he graduates from his English Literature course in Guam.
He’s graduating this June, though, so that’s just a short wait before we see him conquer showbiz in full swing.
