Manny Pacquiao himself confirmed that the Pacquiao-Mayweather fight has big chances of pushing through.
In an interview last night during the People of the Year 2011-2012 ceremonies where he was given the Man of the Decade award, the boxing champ and Saranggani congressman revealed that he recently talked to Floyd Mayweather when the American boxer called his financial adviser Michael Koncz about the fight. Koncz eventually gave the phone to Pacquiao and the two of them talked.
Pacquiao said they both wanted the fight to push through. He even told Mayweather that he's okay with a 50/50 revenue share.
The negotiations is reported to be finalized next week.
