Filipino fashion designer Oliver Tolentino was chosen as a featured designer in the hit reality show America's Next Top Model.
Hollywood-based Oliver Tolentino is known for using indigenous materials in his creations. His pieces were chosen to be worn by the show's contestants in their "Fierce and Parade Fashion Show."
Tolentino's couture gowns were also worn by some contestants in the show's previous episode.
Michael Cinco was the first Pinoy designer to be featured by America's Next Top Model. Perhaps the high ratings of the show in the country somehow paved the way for Filipino designers to be featured.
